http://j2architects.com/jessie-carrillo/ Jessie, a native of Los Angeles, developed a strong love for craft and materials at an early age renovating old homes with his father. As Managing Principal and a licensed architect, Jessie brings 16 years of experience engaging his lifelong passion for construction, materials, and craft into the design and management of projects. In addition, he engages his knowledge of the latest design and construction technologies into the design process itself. This is well exhibited in his past work for CO Architects where he was a technical architect for the award winning Health Sciences Education Building in Phoenix, Arizona. Made right in front of you and super satisfying, it goes without saying that it surpasses all kettle corn that I have tasted in my 19 years of life. The best part about this super yummy and extremely tasty snack is that it’s all natural. It also helps that Steven Caringella, the vendor, is a very cordial and insanely nice person.” California’s Best Kettle Corn has been locally based in Whittier well over 6 years.

Though I grew up in the neighboring city of Montebello, I currently reside in Whittier. As a home-owner and mother of two, I have my sight set on nothing but success. At the age of 19 I became an entrepreneur launching my online store, Shoptherunway.com, and later that same year I opened my first brick and mortar store in Sherman Oaks. I always envisioned planting my roots amid the shops in Uptown Whittier and in June of 2014 that vision became a reality. With my 12 Years of Retail experience, I have learned how to grow my business through social media, creative marketing, networking and customer service. I constantly continue to learn more by attending marketing seminars and classes, getting tips from other successful business owners on how to grow and bring more traffic to my store. My goal is use these skills to help bring business to Uptown by working together with other business leaders in the community. Thank you for your consideration.
